I am just loving Freestyle dressmaking with Annie – just booked for my my 3rd set of classes.
I have really appreciated Annie’s help in fitting standard garments and patterns to my body – it makes such a difference to the finished result and my satisfaction. Good to have all the tips on how to do the tricky bits!
Annie creates a fun atmosphere, and this time is a highlight of my week

Thanks so much Carmel. I have just as much fun teaching you all! Thanks for booking another class, see you soon. Annie x

My favourite time of the week is the ‘Me-time’ I get when I do my Freestyle Dressmaking sessions with Annie. I have learnt so much as Annie is a great teacher – full of tips and tricks on fabrics, sewing techniques, pattern-reading and gives great advice for whatever project I bring along. I love the sewing studio she has set up and always wish I could spend the whole day there doing lots of sewing and enjoying the fun with Annie and my lovely class-mates! I did an A-line skirt class too which is one of Annie’s own patterns which I’ve made a couple of and are great.

Thanks Sally! It’s so great to have you join the regulars on Wednesday’s. A great group of girls! Annie x

Annie is the best sewing teacher in Melbourne. She’s patient, attentive and highly skilled. Her classes are so much fun.
I’ve learnt so much in her freestyle classes. Can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend!

I did the freestyle dressmaking and loved it! Annie has set up a fabulous space and her knowledge of all things sewing and customised fitting gave me the confidence to try projects I wouldn’t have attempted on my own. I am already planning more ambitious projects and can’t wait to go back post lockdown.

Thanks Jacquie, Loved helping you with your Faux Fur, it looked FABULOUS and I hope you are getting some wear out of it. Look forward to sewing with you again soon.

This is such a great class for intermediates. I am at the awkward stage of advanced beginner-intermediate where I can sew but still need help with more complicated construction and fit, and this class is perfect! Can’t wait to do more classes

Thanks for your lovely review Mel. I hope to see you again soon!

I started with the beginners course with Annie over a year ago and just loved it. She is very patient with all the students, keeps the classes fun and interactive. I have been now a regular attendee at the Freestyle Classes for a year now and have continued to build my sewing skills, and made new friends with other regulars. Love the freestyle classes as I always look forward to which next project will challenge me next – with the help of Annie all the way.

Thanks Sam! Love having you in our classes.

I have been attending Annie’s classes for about 3 years. She is a wonderful teacher.. incredibly knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any queries. The sessions are always fun, and are a high spot in my week.

Thanks Katrina! I love teaching my Wednesday classes too!
