In this downloadable tutorial you will learn how to draft and sew your very own Dirndl skirt.

The Dirndl skirt is so versatile. You can wear it as a casual style skirt or dress it up for an evening event. Draft it into a shorter style, midi or even full length skirt. Depending on the fabric you choose, you could give it a vintage vibe or a modern chic look. You are the designer.

This Dirndl skirt could be made up in so many different fabrics. For a daytime look it could be made up in a light to mid weight cotton, cotton blend, rayon, polyester, chambray or even a light weight denim but would work as a more evening style in a taffeta or heavier crepe back satin.
