The Esther Bias Skirt pattern is such a cute skirt and can easily go from day to night.  Wear it with a graphic tee and cool sneakers during  the day  or dress it up in the evening with some pumps. It is the perfect pattern for the confident beginner or equally for the more advanced sewer as this gorgeous skirt can be sewn up in beginner friendly cottons or slinky silks. This midi length bias skirt pattern has an asymmetrical panel on the front and the option of either a tie waist or elastic waist.

The skirt is cut on the bias, which fits beautifully over your natural curves. The tie waistband gives it a casual look and would be great made up in linens or cottons and also very manageable for the beginner sewer. The only skill to learn might be sewing buttonholes but because they are hidden under the tie, they don’t have to be perfect which makes this a great pattern to practice your new skills on.

This pattern is available in sizes 6-24 (Australian standards).

    Lovely pattern!!! EASY to sew 🙂 Very good instructions. I made it in an Italian cotton that has a very good drape and the skirt came out beautiful and comfortable to wear. I’m already working on three other skirts in linen and in different colors 🙂 If you live in North America, this pattern prints well on legal size paper (8.5″x14″), just ensure the test square is Ok.
