Between lockdowns, teaching classes, managing teenage boys during home schooling and just life in general, I’ve managed to release another pattern, the “Twiggy Tank Top”.
I really love wearing tanks during summer but also during the spring and autumn with a little cardio thrown over. It is a high neck (great for keeping the sun off your chest) racerback tank top and is designed to be made up in a rib fabric to give it a really firm fit. The neck and armholes are finished with self fabric binding.
Version A is a cute cropped version and version B sits just at hip level and is slightly higher at the underarm point giving a little extra coverage.
The Twiggy Tank Top pattern is available in sizes 6-24 (Australian standards). and the only skills required for this pattern are sewing a straight line and either zig zag or an overlocking stitch.
You will learn how to sew binding and how to sew with stretch if you haven’t done so before. If you haven’t sewn with stretch before, it’s a great project to start on.
