Twiggy Tank Top Sewing Pattern

About the Twiggy Tank Top

This high neck,  racerback tank top is designed to be made up in a rib fabric to give it a really firm fit. The neck and armholes are finished with self fabric binding.

Version A is a cute cropped version and version B sits just at hip level and is slightly higher at the underarm point giving a little extra coverage.

The Twiggy Tank Top pattern is available in sizes 6-24 (Australian standards).

The only skills required for this pattern are sewing a straight line and either zig zag or an overlocking stitch. You will learn how to sew binding and how to sew with stretch if you haven’t done so before.

Ideally it should be made up in a rib knit fabric with a mix of cotton/elastane or rayon/elastane fibres. The fabric should have at least 60% stretch with good recovery.

The Twiggy Tank would look great teamed up with distressed shorts or jeans or tucked into a skirt with a cardi thrown over. This basic tank top will go with just about anything!
