Description
The Sienna Shift dress is an A-line dress with a round neck, princess seams and empire waistline which gives it a flattering fit over the bustline. It features ruffles which are sewn into the princess seams. It is a mini length dress sitting mid thigh but can be shortened or lengthened easily at the hem line.
Skills required for this pattern include inserting a zipper and sewing bias binding which make it a perfect sewing project for the advanced beginner/intermediate sewer.

The Sienna Shift dress pattern comes in sizes 6-18 (Australian standards).
Fabric Requirements
These fabric requirements include 80cm of fabric for the self fabric bias binding for finishing the frills and armholes.
Ideally it should be made up in a mid weight cotton, cotton blend, chambray, linen or light weight denim but would work in any light to mid weight woven fabric.

Super cute dress. I’m 5’11” so had to adjust the length of the bodice. It was tricky to work out where to adjust the side bodice and the frills. Not sure I nailed it. Would be great to have an indication on the pattern as to where you should lengthen (or shorten) the top half pieces if necessary. Thanks!
