Learn to Sew – The Stacker Jacket by Papercut Patterns

Fabric Recommendations:

Mid- heavy weight cottons, linens, corduroy, wools and blends.

Remember to pre-wash your fabric before class, or at minimum, steam iron it to remove wrinkles.

What you will learn:

• How to measure yourself to get a great fit,
• Apply interfacing
• Sew Pockets
• Sew a collar
• Sew buttonholes
• Add lining
• And much more!

What to bring:

• 2 meters of fabric if 140cm wide
• 2.3 meters of fabric if 115cm wide (make sure to wash and dry fabric before class)
• 1.6 meteres of lining
• 1 meter of Iron on Interfacing
• 20 cm of pocketing fabric (cotton fabric) if adding pockets with flaps.
• Buttons x 4 (2.5cm – 3cm diameter)
• Optional 2 x extra buttons for pockets
• Thread to match

• Sewing machines (Please feel free to BYO if you prefer).
• Cutting tables
• Irons
• Pins, scissors, measuring tapes, rulers, pencils are all available to use but if you’d prefer to bring your own sewing kit please do so.
