Description
What to bring.
- All sewing machines are provided however please feel free to bring your own machine if you prefer.
- Bring your own project, notions and sewing kit. Here’s an example list of essentials you might need to remember:
- Thread: Make sure to bring along the appropriate thread colors for your project. It’s always handy to have a few extra spools, just in case.
- A bobbin compatible with a Janome or Brother sewing machine.
- Zippers, Buttons etc. If your project requires zippers, please remember to bring them along. Double-check the size and color to ensure they match your fabric.
- Calico for Toiles: If you’re working on toiles or muslins, don’t forget to bring along your calico fabric or fabric for making a toile. It’s essential for perfecting your garment before using your main fabric.

The maximum number of students is six so each student will get personalised instructions and plenty of time to practise on the sewing machines supplied.
Important Information:
Timeliness Matters: We kindly request that you arrive on time for your scheduled class. Starting promptly ensures that everyone can make the most of their time and efforts. Late arrivals can disrupt the learning experience for fellow participants.
Studio Access: The studio doors will be open 10 minutes before the scheduled class time, giving you a chance to settle in and prepare.
No Last-Minute Cancellations: Please be aware that our workshops and courses are often fully booked weeks in advance. Unfortunately,wee are not able to accommodate last-minute cancellations or transfers if you miss your class. Please check your diary carefully before booking as we can’t make any exceptions.
