Summer Sewing Workshop Series – Bathers!

Friday, Jan 31st , 5-7 pm.

Sat Feb 1st 10- 2.30 pm.

Learn to Sew a classic one-piece swimsuit as part of our Summer Sewing Workshop Series.

Over a glass of wine on Friday night, you will be introduced to this classic bathers pattern by Megan Nielsen! It is a perfect project if you’ve been sewing with wovens and want to dive in (pun intended) to sewing with stretch fabrics.

After measuring and cutting our Friday night, sewing will commence on Saturday morning. Sushi lunch is provided along with expert guidance from our head honcho Annie!

If you haven’t sewn stretch before, this pattern is a great way to start.  You will learn all the techniques for sewing with swimsuit fabric.  There are a few different versions of this pattern, but to start with you will be sewing the classic one-piece (with or without shelf bra) to learn the techniques of sewing swimwear.  After the workshop, you can use your acquired skills to sew any of the styles as you will take the pattern home with you.

Please read our cancellation policy.
