In term one of after school sewing lessons, your child will have 11 fun lessons to learn sewing from the very beginning or build up their existing sewing skills by sewing crafty projects like softies, book bags and pencil cases. They will then move on to making one or two pieces of simple clothing. The maximum number of students is six so each student will get personalised instructions and plenty of time to practise on the sewing machines supplied. Students who have completed terms in the past will be given projects appropriate for their experience.

Please note, due to limited spaces missed classes are not transferable or refundable.

This course is designed for the absolute beginner 10-15 years.

What to bring.

All sewing machines are provided however please feel free to bring your own machine if you prefer.

About your instructor
Neroli aka “Dandy N” is a very experienced seamstress specialising in sampling, custom projects, production, and workshops. She is from the “other side of the river” and brings all those funky cool ideas with her. Neroli is passionate about ethical production and sustainable practices.
